My work focuses on unsettling and disturbing interpretations of reality, exploring degradation, decay and the uneasy relationship between the beautiful and the macabre.

Working in oil and acrylic, I create close-cropped paintings of anatomy, skulls and organic forms. I remove the wider context to bring attention to texture, detail and the parts of a subject that can feel unfamiliar or uncomfortable when seen up close.
I want each piece to create a sense of anxious curiosity — drawing the viewer in while leaving them slightly uneasy.
Alongside painting, I work in charcoal and ink, exploring the same themes through drawing.
